Our Mission:
The Valley Technology Group is dedicated to the facilitation of environmentally friendly and civic minded reuse and recycling of technology equipment. The Valley Technology Outreach’s purpose is to collect technology equipment that is no longer needed by one party and seek out individuals and organizations that could benefit from that equipment.
What does VTO do?
Collects unused and decommissioned technology equipment from businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals to be refurbished and recycled. Refurbished products are sold at significantly reduced prices to other nonprofit organizations in need of such equipment while all other equipment is recycled in a completely green manner.
Why Donate to Valley Technology Outreach?
Consumers need a safe, effective and environmentally responsible solution for recycling old/unused technology equipment. Area non-profits need better access to low cost, reliable, standardized technology equipment.
VTO aims to meet all these needs by accepting donations of unwanted technology equipment, erasing the data in compliance with governmental standards, and refurbishing what can be refurbished to sell to small non-profits at a low cost, and disposing of what can’t be recycled in the most environmentally friendly manner possible. VTO is dedicated to proper destruction of data, erasing all personal information from computers donated. VTO is also a cost effective way to recycle your used technology equipment. Valley Technology Outreach charges $5 for large technology equipment such as monitors, computers and printers—which is the same price charged by the local dumps.
